  2. Should a school/coach declare an athlete who does not appear on Walt Murphy's list, they should bring "Proof of Performance" to the IC4A meet, including the date and site.

  3. Coaches may challenge any performance at any time after the heat sheets have been made public until 60 minutes before the first distance event on Friday or 60 minutes prior to the first scheduled event on Saturday.

  4. If a performance is challenged, it will be the responsibility of the coach of an athlete or relay (that has been challenged) to produce official results of that performance. Should that not be possible, the athlete or relay will be withdrawn from the meet and the school fined $50.00.

Conference Champions:

  1. We will continue the practice of allowing athletes that are "Conference Champions" to compete in the IC4A Championships, even if they have not made the Qualifying Standards.

  2. In such cases, a coach may designate only one (1) conference to select your athletes from.

  3. This is NOT in addition to the "Waiver of Standard" rule below.

  4. There is  NO Conference Champion exception for the Decathlon.

Waiver of Standard Procedure:

  1. We will continue the practice of allowing athletes to compete from schools that do not have ANY qualifiers in either the running events (including relays) or the field events.

  2. Such schools can enter one (1) running event athlete or relay AND one (1) field event athlete.

  3. If a school has qualifiers in the running events but not in any field events, they may enter one (1) field event waiver and vice versa.

  4. This procedure is a continuation of the practice established several years ago.
