Larry’s Notes

Please note:              Please send battlenotes updates to almrun2@aol.com rather than amy@LancerTiming.com .

There have been some problems with the LancerTiming address.

Also note:                   You can request a “Read Message Receipt”  when you send the message.  Once Amy opens

the mail she clicks to send you  a receipt automatically.  That way you have documentation.

Check under tools in your e-mail window to find the read message receipt!

1)         Rules for open meet #1 on January 22nd :

·         No team scoring.

·         Each team will still be limited to 40 entries.

·         NO athletes can double in the following events:  600m  -  1000m  -  1500m  -  3000m

·         If an athlete has not done an event before but has met the standards in a similar event, that qualifies him/her for the event not done before.

·         Blocks will be allowed in 300m.

·         NO spikes will be allowed.

NOTE:  We all have that one athlete who makes every practice, or is a senior, or whatever, who is very close to the above standards. We have no problem with that one athlete - however, more than one is a problem. If a school enters several athletes who have not met one of the standards, all performances by that team will be disqualified.
